link optimization for search engine optimization campaigns Overview
Link OptimizerSM includes the qualification and addition of inbound links to and outbound links from websites with similar themes or relevance for favorable evaluation by 2nd and 3rd generation search engines.

  • Define related keyword searches
  • Gather relevant websites
  • Record links to relevant websites
  • Filter candidate sites for tech and relevancy
  • Client approval of pre-links
  • Request reciprocal linking
  • Monitor response
The most popular search engines read (spider) a website to determine its keywords. Links from relevant websites are valuable in the eyes of the search engine. They are considered a 3rd party "citations" or reference and positively influence rank. As the number of inbound relevant links increase, search engines consider the website more of an authority for specific keywords and assign higher ranking.

Process

With SEO keywords in hand and a link strategy defined, a link optimization campaign can begin. The Link OptimizerSM is a special set of proprietary tools that facilitate and manage the link optimization process.

Defining related search words is the first step. These related keywords are entered into the search engines resulting in a list of top ranking websites. Brand name, .org or associations are discarded because they typically attract link partners who do not typically participate in reciprocal link building campaigns.

A "link:" query is performed on the remaining sites resulting in thousands of link candidates.
Each is filtered for:

  • technical acceptance
  • relevancy
  • and the likelihood of linking

Filtered links are presented to the client for approval. Here, the client can reject direct competitors or other sites for any reason. After client approval, pre-links are posted to the site and link invitations are sent via email or on-line forms.

The final step includes validation of NEW links on partner sites. Outbound links on client's site are then placed in appropriate categories. Pre-link partners that choose not to reciprocate are deleted from the link page making room for a new batch of pre-links.

The process continues until the link goal is achieved.
